A&R + Artist Development Consulting

Philosophy

I spent eight years as an A&R executive at Atlantic Records, contributing across Atlantic, Big Beat, and Neon Gold, before expanding into artist and producer management and independent A&R consulting with a focus on long-term artist development.

I’m drawn to dynamic storytellers and prioritize musicianship, tonality, and clarity of voice. My work centers on helping artists identify what makes them unmistakable—sonically, lyrically, and emotionally—so their work feels both intentional and enduring.

In today’s music landscape, I don’t approach A&R as talent identification alone. I see it as culture-shaping work: creating the conditions for artists to grow, evolve, and sustain meaningful creative lives. My approach to artist development is holistic and highly intentional, considering not just the music, but the internal narratives, creative patterns, and pressures that shape an artist’s output.

I work closely with artists, writers, and producers to translate personal experience into cohesive bodies of work—projects that feel grounded in truth rather than trend. Today’s audiences aren’t just connecting to songs; they’re connecting to the full artist—the story, the perspective, and the human behind the work.

I believe the development process is something to be protected and championed. Artists aren’t just delivering songs—they’re building a voice, a point of view, and a body of work that can stand the test of time. My role is to support that process with discernment, care, and deep respect for the courage it takes to create authentically.
